Healthy Church Match

The Kempton Society has a wonderful opportunity to build our endowment, with the help of matching dollars from the General Church through the Healthy Church Match program. This program, which started in September of 2009, will run for 5 years, until September 2014. Every dollar that we raise will be matched and added to Kempton’s endowment fund. This matching opportunity is separate from our operating budget and is intended to:

Grow the Kempton Endowment so that the Kempton New Church and School will be self-supporting and will not need financial support from the General Church Endowment.

How do I contribute?

It’s very easy. Simply click on the button at the bottom of this page. That will bring up a document called the “Letter of Intent.” This letter needs to accompany all donations to this program. The letter will insure that your gift plus the matching dollars are sent back to our endowment fund. On the Letter of Intent simply check the box that indicates your gift is restricted to the Healthy Church Match program and it is to Benefit Kempton. Indicate the amount of your gift on the form. There is a section where you may indicate when you intend to make your gift. If you are enclosing a check, please make it out to “The General Church” and add “Kempton” to the memo line. Check the box on the form that indicates you are sending the “Entire amount now.” Please complete the form with your name and address and send it, along with your check to General Church at the address at the bottom of the form.
